WRITING FOR US
Our driving mission is to support and grow the San Diego comedy scene. With that in mind, we'd love to have you share some of your expertise, experience, and know-how with other comedians. Below is a bit about how writing for us works.

First Things First
1. Get the topic approved by us by either messaging Andi Whiskey on Instagram or Facebook or emailing hey@sdcomedyscene.com.
2. Articles must be 750+ words.
3. Articles must be well-organized with short paragraphs and organized sections. See below for more tips on this.

And Then...
4. Submit it to hey@sdcomedyscene.com, ideally as a Google Doc, makes our life easier.
5. We might edit it for SEO purposes, we don't expect anyone to submit stuff optimized.
6. If it's approved, we'll send you the payment form that'll also request your bio and headshot and links for the Authors page. Pay per article starts at $50 for most articles, more if there are extra costs, time, or resources needed.
5. It gets published.
6. We promote across our IG, email newsletter, and in the group.
We don't have deadlines, because comedians. But the sooner you get it in, the higher we'll bump it in the publish queue.
